By measuring the extinction by means of a photometer the time course of the acid hydrolysis of ferroin will be determined. Based on these data the concentration dependence of the reaction velocity can be shown. The temperature dependence of the reaction will be determined by carrying out the acid hydrolysis at different temperatures (45°C and 55°C).
